Pinetti Collection Products

Pinetti Company History

1970. The story of Pinetti begins with young architect Alberto Pinetti, whose passion for art and design led him to create bespoke furniture pieces for his own home. This early experimentation laid the foundation for what would become a distinguished name in the world of luxury design.

1983. Buoyed by the positive reception of his designs, Alberto, along with his wife Ezia, decided to take a significant step forward. In 1983, they officially founded Pinetti, transforming their creative endeavors into a professional enterprise.

1988. From its inception, Pinetti gained popularity not only in Italy but also internationally. Their exquisite products found a place in prestigious stores such as Harrods and Liberty in London, Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Kate’s Papery and the MoMA bookshop in New York, and Axis in Tokyo, among others.

1989. Collaborating with a prominent fashion brand, Pinetti introduced its first all-leather collections. Leather became the cornerstone material for their products, marking a significant evolution in their design approach.

1990. A partnership with Japanese designer Takao Sugimoto resulted in a modular table collection that artfully combined leather and wood, showcasing Pinetti’s innovative use of materials and design versatility.

1993. The Pinetti family’s involvement in the company deepened, with sons Andrea, Lorenzo, and Pietro contributing to the creation of a collection of watches and wallets named after them. This marked the beginning of the family collections.

1998. Pinetti’s reputation for creating unique, bespoke products grew, paving the way for high-end collections tailored for the most prestigious brands in fashion and furnishings.

2000. Expanding its home range, Pinetti became a key player in the turnkey project sector, designing and producing comprehensive solutions for furniture, housekeeping, and the food & beverage sectors for hotels, yachts, and private jets.
