As the name suggests, the Backdoor buffet by Alain Gilles is characterized by the vertical edges of the doors, which are repeated along the entire length of the buffet, creating a sense of regularity and tranquility. The buffet's design is well structured and inspired by the facades of Art Nouveau buildings: the vertical lines have hidden slots that serve to open the doors. The purpose of the structure outlining the buffet, light and almost invisible, is to discreetly and elegantly emphasize the measured regularity of the facade elements. The Backdoor buffet is available in the noce Canaletto version.
