Caracalla sofas combine the creative flair of Giuseppe Casarosa with the sophisticated elegance of Ceccotti Collezioni. They were designed in 2019 with the dual aim of creating a more compact padded sofa with softer profiles than the Don Giovanni, and of developing a seating system that was more affordable for a wider public. Initially focused on creating bolder forms, Casarosa eventually designed a more reassuring product of understated conventional elegance. Available in three sizes and two different heights, this elegant series of sofas is a graceful addition to rooms, also representing a clear example of Ceccotti Collezioni’s savoir faire in the creation of padded seating. The basic structure is made from solid wood with brass feet, while the cushions are padded with non-deformable polyurethane foam of variable density and down. The fabric, leather and real leather covers enhance its simple forms, adding extra value. The seats are not overly deep and the backrests come in two different heights and various dimensions, diversifying the appearance of the sofas, while the base is the common element that unites all the pieces in the family, of which the Caracalla armchair also forms part.
