Opening up to experimentation means accepting new challenges, like that connected with the design of the Grand Dîner, product of the creative mind of Giuseppe Casarosa in 2017. The table, in its round version, has a walnut, ebony or marble top, but is also available in a rectangular version with walnut or ebony top. The design goal was to interpret the material, eliminating the problems connected with the immobility and monumental effect with which it is inevitably associated. The solution for the round table was to divide the top into four sections, inserting a cross-shaped inlay in American walnut. This made it possible to lighten its unwieldy appearance, in the case of the marble top, and to create an original design from its veining, in the case of the wooden top. The base, designed with a dynamic silhouette that finishes with the brass feet, helps to lighten the overall effect of the table. The result is a dining table with an exclusive design, the undisputed focal point of the most important social occasions. The round version can also be accessorised with a wooden Lazy Susan with walnut or ebony finish. The project of Grand Dîner inspired the birth of another product: the Petit Dîner.
