Minotti company was established in 1948 and born out of the intuition of Alberto Minotti. The small-scale artisan workshop grew quickly and, starting from the Sixties, became more industrialized in character and size. After the death of father, the founder of the company in 1991, the company was taken over by sons Renato and Roberto Minotti, who are still at the helm today.
Responsible for the corporate strategy, since 1998 they have shared their creative vision and aesthetic key-principles with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, who was assigned the strategic role of Art Director and coordinator of all the company collections. He became the author of the concept of the main showroom of the company, which is created in the form of a luxurious villa and occupies an area of 5000 square meters. The showroom houses the brand’s iconic models, and each new collection turns into a real fashion show. Since the late 1990s, the younger generation of the Minotti family has joined to help develop the company and improve operations: Alessio in 1998, Alessandro in 2003, Susanna in 2013 and Leonardo in 2020.
The “Made in Italy” concept is central to Minotti’s identity, which constantly combines tradition and innovation: the skill of a talented artisan is used to finish a product created with modern technology, and the intelligence of the hands balances industrial precision with sensitivity and emotion. This high degree of know-how is constantly refined through intensive research into materials and technological solutions, adding value to flawless details. The pursuit of excellence encompasses the entire company.
Over the years the company has conceived a specific “Minotti code”, that has become a constant feature of every collection, always following the key principle of “innovation in the spirit of continuity”. A key role in this process is played by Minotti Studio, the heart and mind of the company. Minotti Studio gives shape to designers’ ideas and projects, channeling their creative energies based on different cultural roots, in the development of indoor and outdoor collections for the residential and Hospitality segments. These collections reflect the Minotti identity as well as the evolution of living habits.
In 2022 Minotti achieved esteemed recognition by being included in the Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest, curated by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE). This recognition celebrates the Made in Italy excellence, honoring brands with at least fifty years of registration, and historically rooted into the territory.
Intensive development and export of the company’s products allowed it to quickly win the love of customers all over the world. Today, Minotti furniture is represented in 70 countries around the world, and the number of monobrand stores is more than 30. According to Roberto Minotti, this success is due to the uniqueness of the brand and the balance between innovation and tradition, luxury and comfort.
