Lucia Ippolito was born in the famous weaving town of Prato, near Florence. After earning a bachelor's degree in industrial design from the University of Florence, she began working at the yacht design studio AVADESIGN, while also studying for a master's degree in yacht engineering at the University of Pisa. Then, moving to Milan, Lucia worked as a product designer under maestro Samuele Mazza, for whose company she designed several interiors and home collections.
From 2014 to 2016, Lucia was invited as a senior designer for the Versace Home brand, for which she created collections. At the same time, Ippolito became the author of her first collection as a designer and creative director for Bastianelli Home. During these years, she continued her studies, mastering the principles of Feng Shui. In 2017, Lucia Ippolito returned to Florence and launched her own design studio, Madame Dessin. In addition to collaborating with the Cipriani Homood brand, the designer creates interiors for private clients, as well as delving into fashion and developing concepts for accessories and clothing.
