Rodolfo Dordoni

The strategic partnership between Minotti and Milanese architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni began in 1997 and concluded in 2023 with his untimely death. A rationalist architect with a diverse personality, Rodolfo Dordoni met Renato and Roberto Minotti in the late 1990s. The Minotti brothers immediately recognized Dordoni’s cultural background, professional experience, and interior decorating sensitivity as the perfect foundation for a strong relationship. Their challenge was to create a new vision for the company.

In 1997, Dordoni introduced his first collection of seating, tables, and coffee tables, including the iconic Suitcase armchair, inspired by fashion and luggage-making. This successful, unconventional design marked the start of a more than twenty-year relationship.

In 1998, he was appointed Art Director and coordinator of all the company’s collections, a turning point that led him on a path of continuous research driven by coherence, determination, passion, and enthusiasm. Over the years, this resulted in a comprehensive range for the home, encompassing both indoor and outdoor environments and Hospitality spaces, fully embodying the concepts of “collection” and “lifestyle.”
